Places to Shop: Moshi, Pink Basis, and Pure Collection

Good morning everyone!  I am up bright and early to give you a second helping of Places to Shop. Today's featured stores are Moshi, Pink Basis, and Pure Collection.

I normally review clothing retailers, but the other day, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone  and review Moshi.  If you have never heard of Moshi, it is an online retailer which sells accessories for your iPad, iPod, iPhone, and other tech gadgets.  I didn't see anything for my iPod which is four years old and is probably considered a dinosaur in today's fast moving technology world.

Pure Collection is a retailer based in Europe which specializes in all things cashmere.  I always liked the way cashmere feels-really really soft.

Pink Basis has a lot of bright, bold, and colorful clothing and accessories.  Here is a purse that is guaranteed to bring a smile on someone's face.

That's all for this week.  As always happy shopping!

Places to Shop: Pottery Barn, Abbey Dawn, and Dress N Impress.

Good evening everyone, and welcome to another edition of Places to Shop.  Today's featured retailers are Pottery Barn, Abbey Dawn, and Dress N Impress.

Dress N Impress

Dress N Impress is an online retailer based in Europe which sell designer clothing for men and women.  Dress N Impress offers customers a convenient way to shop without having to deal with heavy traffic and crowded stores.

When you click on the green "Reveal Promo Code," you can get up to 50% off your next purchase.

Abbey Dawn

Our next featured company is Abbey Dawn.  In case you have never heard of Abbey Dawm, it is a clothing line developed by singer/songwriter Avril Lavigne.  This clothing line is dedicated to young girls who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd.  Avril's clothing line is very rocker chic.

Interested in shopping here?  You can get Abbey Dawn's current promotion by clicking on the View Deal page link within the review on Knoji.

Pottery Barn

Last but not least is Pottery Barn.  Pottery Barn is U.S. based home decor retailer which sale home furnishings and home decor items.  There is likely a Pottery Barn in your town or city, or at least near by.  Be sure to get their current promotions when you visit the review at

I personally like this office setup.  I wish my partial office space looked like this.  Well, that's all for this edition of Places to Shop.  Good night everyone, and happy shopping!  :)

And my to do list keeps growing.....

It has been busy around here.  With fall fast approaching, it will be time for me to move all of my summer clothes to the back of the closet.  On Sunday, I got sick of not being able to close my closet door.  So I re-stacked purses, repositioned shoe boxes, and refolded blankets.  I have one blanket that takes up a lot of space. I only pull it out on extremely cold nights, but that doesn't happen around here too often.  Anyway, I also found an old alarm clock and my Toshiba laptop that doesn't work anymore.  I know I should recycle it somewhere, I just need to find out where.

I have been doing my online writing this week as usual.  It appears that  the editorial staff is behind on approving product reviews.  I posed this question in the forums, another writer said that she is waiting for on approval of her work. I think editorial must be swamped this week. So I probably won't be able to post my new feature Places to Shop this week.

In the midst of taking care of the daily house work, I am crawling through my 2012 Reading List.  I have five books lined up to read and or review.

Two of the books were checked out from the library.  They were due back today, but I had to call yesterday to renew them.  Right now, I am reading Take A Bow by Elizabeth Eulberg and I am almost finished.  Next up, will be The Story of Us by Deb Caletti.  It's a long book, so I better get to it before October 5.

I have also been reading Lauren Conrad's LA Candy, but I abandoned it for now even though I am half way through the book.  I also started reading Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren back in the summer. I have had this book in my possession since June, and have not completed it.  Celeste, if you are reading this I hope to get back to this book very soon.

On a final note, I am baffled by the fact of the amount  of laundry that keeps piling up.  I am practically washing and folding every day. Does anyone experience this?

I'm Not A Purse Addict....I Promise

It's not always easy to live on a budget these days especially with the rise of gas prices...... again.  Yes, I am aware of the gas prices despite the fact that I don't even own a car.  At any rate, yestrday I was at Goodwill  to visit their Job Connections.  Well, Job Connections was closed, so I browsed around the Goodwill store.  I found not one but two purses.  The first purse, a bright orange one caught my attention.  As I kept looking around, I found a black Kate Spade purse for $5.00!  I couldn't believe it.  The orange one was $3.50.  I spent a total of $8.50.   You can't even buy a good quality purse in the store for that much.  I only found a purse that was fairly cheap at Charlotte Russe a few years ago.  Sadly, I had to throw it away because it started peeling.  These new purses are sturdy and made of good materials so I should be keeping them for a while.

I'm not the world's best photographer but you get the idea.  What else has been going on?  I have been hard at on more product and service reviews.  When you click on a link you like, be sure to take advantage of the company's coupons, promotions, and current offers.

  1. Coach
  2. Anna Scholz
  3. Clothing Candy
  4. Gifts

While writing my review for Clothing Candy, I could not believe the prices.  What is Clothing Candy? is an online clothing retailer located in Singapore which sells clothing and prom dresses.  As I was browsing the site this bag caught my attention:

light Green PU Leather Bag $21.50

And I liked this bright red one, I can pack of few book in there.

Bright Watermelon Red Bag $21.50

So there you have it. Like what you see. Just head over to Clothing Candy and take a look around. And they accept PayPal.  I hope that you didn't get the wrong idea.  I'm not a purse addict even though I own a few purses and handbags.  I do like a good bag.  My major requirement is that it must be roomy and I can hold all my stuff.  I have a cute Chanel purse that is so small I can't fit my wallet in there. It is more of a special occasiion purse more than anything.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.
